Counseling

There are two counselors available for Central Catholic High School's students. Each counselor covers two, alternate grades and stays with the same students from the time they come in as freshmen. The counseling department hosts several events throughout the year and they also host college representatives on campus through out the year for students to meet with.

  • Career Day

    Central Catholic High School’s Annual Career Day will feature a keynote speaker, over 20 workshop sessions, and unlimited opportunities to inspire youth. Speakers will have the opportunity to share their passion and dedication that led them to become pursue their field. Speakers are assigned to a classroom and will have the opportunity to present to an eager, captive audience of students. The main objective is to give the students an opportunity to meet and talk with the people from various occupational areas to inspire and encourage them to continue to excel in school and further research their interests.
  • College Night

    This is an informational night for all students and their parents. We have representatives from the UCs, CSUs, Private schools, and the Military Academies. It is a great opportunity to take advantage of and establish a relationship with the college admission representatives.
  • Financial Aid Night

    Financial aid night is dedicated to helping senior parents with FAFSA applications. Each year, representatives from MJC and CSU Stanislaus will put on an evening event to assist with the FAFSA applications.
  • Ethics Day

    Ethics Day is a senior event held at Del Rio Country Club. It is a “Dress for Success” event and seniors are required to be in their business attire. The purpose of the day is to expose students to some of the many ethical decisions that professionals are required to address in today’s business world.
